Victoria Griffin was born and raised in Knoxville, graduated from Fulton High School, and earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Prior to joining Emerald Youth, she long-admired the ministry for its impact in the city with young people, and served as a mentor at Emerald Academy, Knoxville's only public charter school (and sister organization of Emerald Youth). 

Victoria attends Grace Baptist Church. She was part of a large family growing up and is the mother to her daughter, Jah’Zariah.

Her interests include basketball, art, and music. She has also coached in an AAU basketball program. Victoria is a fan of trying new foods, travel and always appreciates a good self-care day!
