Soccer Ministry Assistant Director of Coaching (DOC)

The Soccer Ministry Assistant Director of Coaching is responsible for helping to enhance the Emerald Youth sports program experience for players, coaches, and parents. The Soccer Ministry Assistant Director of Coaching’s primary day-to-day responsibilities are for Academy and middle school soccer programming and support of the Club soccer program if directed. 


Performance Trainer

The Performance Trainer develops, plans, and manages performance training programs for Emerald Youth Foundation’s assigned neighborhood connecting and engaging with residents of all ages in the community allowing them to become physically and spiritually active and instilling life-long active lifestyles. This role will help recruit participants (and any needed volunteers) and develop individual performance training plans to help accomplish the goals the participant desires.   


Calling and Career Ministry Director

The Calling & Career Ministry Director provides leadership for all aspects of the designated neighborhood Calling & Career Center for 9th grade through first two years of post-secondary education helping students to discover their purpose and ensure they are on schedule for making the transition to Godly young adults and active in the faith community.  The Director will integrate into the life of the students, helping to facilitate long-term connections and relationships through academic support and enrichment, college and career identification and planning, and post-secondary training selection.  This role will seek and connect mentors with students, connect with college partners, market the center, build social media awareness, and identify and develop other resources.


JustLead Youth Ministry Coordinator

Position focuses on the discipleship of young people in assigned area.


JustLead Afterschool/Summer Ministry Coordinator

This position will manage all aspects of the afterschool and summer program activities for elementary and middle school age young people as part of the Emerald Youth's JustLead Ministry. The JustLead Afterschool/Summer Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment of children and families to participate in the JustLead programs as well as volunteers to help support the ministry initiatives and for achieving assigned program goals.

AMERICORPS: Paid, Part-Time Positions

Emerald Youth Foundation has multiple paid positions available through our AmeriCorps program.

AmeriCorps members are individuals who commit their time and skills to get things done for America. There are more than 80,000 Americans across the country participating in AmeriCorps each year. All of them are tackling different problems in different ways, and have dedicated their time and skills to serve. AmeriCorps members spend anywhere from three months to a year serving with a nonprofit, school, public agency, or community and faith-based organization.

Janitor/Custodian

The part time custodian will maintain and protect our Emerald Youth facilities. The external and internal appearance of the buildings reflect Emerald Youth Foundation. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning, and tidying the premises. The custodian will be focused on building upkeep, have great physical endurance to cover a large space, and have a keen eye for detail.


JustLead afterschool/summer Ministry Worker

Assists with executing the day-to-day operations of the ministry’s afterschool and summer day camp programs. This position focuses on supporting the ministry’s discipleship activities, while also providing transportation, facilitating program rotations, and participating in relational ministry activities to comprehensively engage youth in the JustLead program.


justlead afterschool tutor

Tutors will work with students on reading and math goals, based on student needs and grade level. Tutoring in the elementary level will have a focus on reading. Tutoring at the middle school level will have a focus on math. Tutors will receive curriculum and resources to support their students, and training will be provided on how to utilize the curriculum. Tutoring resources and curriculum will be provided to tutors.


Bus Driver

Use Emerald Youth Foundation vehicles primarily for afterschool pick-ups, summer day camp transportation, and/or transportation to and from sporting events as part of Emerald Youth's different youth ministries. Position could also include extended field trips and other trips as needed. Position ensures passenger safety, reports issues, and is responsible for awareness of routes and general vehicle upkeep.


Swim Instructor

Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for participants in Emerald Youth Sports Learn to Swim Program. Assists with curriculum and instruction of classes for elementary and middle school age participants.


Lifeguard

Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with Emerald Youth Foundation and EV Davidson-Carl Cowan Pool policies and procedures.
