TyDexstine is originally from Knoxville and a proud Fulton High School alum. She is no stranger to Emerald Youth Foundation as she was a member of the JustLead program in elementary school and has also been a volunteer.

TyDexstine has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Pellissippi State and a bachelor’s from Johnson University in Preaching and Youth Ministry and Bible and Theology. Her passion for working with young people and pouring into the next generation is what brought her back to Emerald.

She is very active with City Hills Church, and is over the teenage girls’ ministry, Worthy Gals. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, painting, and listening to music. She also loves to braid hair.

TyDexstine is excited to see youth in our city succeed and grow to be everything God has called them to be.
