Shawn is not originally from Knoxville, but the Lord brought him here to serve as Grace Christian Academy’s middle school principal in 2018, and he’s called Knoxville home ever since! Shawn joined Emerald Youth in 2023 as our Soccer Ministry Director.

He has always been passionate about soccer, whether it be playing or coaching, and is looking forward to instilling that love in our city’s youth while also preparing them to be leaders in their community.

Growing up in a military family, Shawn has lived all over the world, including Switzerland and Hawaii. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education and a master’s in Christian Ministry-Leadership.

In Shawn’s free time, he enjoys being with his family, hiking, and volunteering with Trail Life U.S.A.
