Emerald Youth Foundation Honors Rev. Dr. Harold Middlebrook
Emerald Youth Foundation hosted more than 1,000 guests at the November 15 Legacy Dinner honoring Rev. Dr. Harold Middlebrook. The 14th annual event was presented Jama and Mike Campbell, the Charlie and Moll Anderson Family Foundation, SafeSplash Swim School, and Faith Promise Church.
Dr. Middlebrook has served the nation as a leader of the civil rights movement, alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and as a dedicated pastor and community leader in Knoxville for more than 40 years.
Dr. Middlebrook has faithfully engaged with Emerald Youth Foundation since the formation of the ministry, and Knoxville’s youth have received the influence of his insight, prayers, and wisdom for many years.
The Legacy Dinner, held at the Knoxville Convention Center, is one of Emerald Youth Foundation’s three main fundraisers and supports the ministry’s work with city children and families. The event featured a live performance by Grammy award-winning singer and author MANDISA and music by the Emerald Youth Choir, Cody & Kinsey Zimmerman, and Lydia Crooks.
