Maxwell lived in San Diego, California before moving to Knoxville three years ago. He now resides as the Director of Sports Operations for Emerald Youth Foundation. Before Emerald, Maxwell spent 15 years as the Operations Manager of Shadow Mountain Community Church. Shadow Mountain is an internationally televised church through Turning Point with David Jeremiah. Having a background in a multi-ministry organization, Maxwell is intrigued and excited to join Emerald and begin a hyper-focused and ministry driven organization.

Maxwell attends Beech Springs Baptist Church in Kodak with his wife and three children. His favorite Bible verse is John 1:12. This verse opened his eyes to the reality that he is an adopted son of God and thus inspired him to endeavor to live in such a way to reflect that.

In his free time, Maxwell can be found reading, exercising, gardening and doing activities with his children. Maxwell’s fun fact is he can say that he was raised riding waves in the Pacific Ocean.
