Mary Beth Jones has called Knoxville home for the past three and a half years. Originally from Martin, Tennessee, she moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee. She recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and previously gained experience as a Learning and Development student at KUB.

Mary Beth is excited to join Emerald as the HR Intern. She was drawn to Emerald's deep commitment to sharing the Gospel and serving the community. She is eager to dive into the mission and connect with others.

She is a member of Washington Pike Church and holds 1 John 4:10–12 close to her heart: “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son...” She finds this passage a powerful reminder of God’s love and our call to love others in return.

Mary Beth enjoys walking and hiking in nature, traveling to new places, and is always up for a good coffee—fitting, since she actually met her husband Matthew while they were both working as baristas! In her free time, she loves exploring Knoxville, spending time with loved ones, and living out her faith in meaningful ways.
