Welcome to the Emerald Middle School Girls Soccer League!

This fall season, we invite players from our community schools to represent their school pride and participate in an exciting soccer league. Here’s all you need to know to join and support the Emerald Middle School Girls Fall Soccer Season.

Participating Schools:

• Emerald Academy

• Vine Middle School

• South-Doyle Middle School

• Whittles Springs Middle School

• Holston Middle School

Registration:

Registration is now open for students attending the above schools. Students will need to complete evaluation tryouts to participate. Our Area Sports and Recreation Directors will help plan and assist with our Volunteer Coaches with Evaluation Tryouts.  The area directors will be assisting the following schools:

Victoria Griffin: Holston and Vine Middle School

Isaiah Gilmore: Whittle Springs Middle School

Mykah Sheffield: South-Doyle Middle School

Makaley Black: Emerald Academy

Evaluation Tryouts:

• Dates: August 13th (Tuesday) and August 15th (Thursday); August 20th (Tuesday) and August 22nd (Thursday)

• Purpose: Evaluation tryouts will determine team/position placements.

Season Start:

• Kick-off Date: September 9th

• Note: No soccer games or practices during Fall Break.

Fees:

• Participation Fee: $35

• Included: Team jersey

Practice/Tryouts Locations:

Each school will hold practices/tryouts either at their respective school grounds or at the Sansom Sports Complex during the week.

Game Schedule:

• Game Day: Monday Evenings

• First Game: September 9th

This soccer league is not a sanctioned sport of Knox County Schools. The schools will assist our staff and volunteers with recruiting and communication efforts.
