Eric is a longtime Knoxville resident and Central High School graduate, class of 2007. After studying industrial maintenance at Pellissippi, Eric worked in maintenance at Travisco, Inc. He initially became involved with Emerald Youth through the basketball program as a volunteer coach and is excited to serve in an environment where his faith, his work, and his love for youth all come together.

Eric became a Christian at age 10 at Central Baptist Church – a day he’ll never forget! Psalm 23 is most meaningful to Eric as it encourages his trust in God’s faithfulness. Eric attends Faith Promise Church’s North Campus, where he was baptized on Easter day. He, his wife, Kayla, and their three beautiful children enjoy the fellowship and kid’s programs there.

Sports are a big part of their family life, and Eric enjoys watching his kids compete. He likes college sports – especially the Vols – and his favorite pro-teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bulls, and Atlanta Braves. He and his family enjoy times fishing and camping at Norris Lake in Andersonville.
