Conni started her career as a restaurant manager. After several years of moving from state to state, she decided to return to her hometown in upstate New York. There she earned a paralegal degree and then continued her education in California, concurrently earning a bachelor’s degree and juris doctor degree. She did all of this while working full-time for a real estate attorney and raising her two young children.
She then worked as a legal secretary for a multi-state IP firm and was quickly promoted to the paralegal in charge of foreign patent prosecution. After passing the Bar exam, she decided to remain in that position since she enjoyed the work so much. She worked with the firm until she moved to Knoxville at the end of 2005.
Conni noticed a difference in many of the people she met in Knoxville and began to ask questions and seek their stories. She then realized the common thread was their passion for Jesus. She met some incredible mentors and began attending Faith Promise Church. She surrendered her life to Christ on Easter day in 2013!
She is excited that God has led her to Emerald Youth and believes His biggest blessings are yet to come.
