Cody arrived in Knoxville in fall 2016 to attend the University of Tennessee and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Growing up, he experienced the value of building relationships with spiritual leaders, and he desires to provide similar opportunities with city young people through his role in the Calling & Career Ministry. Cody volunteered as a soccer coach for Emerald Youth during college and loves that the ministry is committed to the health, education and spiritual growth of Knoxville’s young people.
He acknowledges that he’s a “coffee snob” due to his previous work as a barista, and when he’s not in a coffee shop or playing soccer, he enjoys the great outdoors camping, kayaking and fishing.
Cody is married, and his wife is a teacher in Knox County.
