Clark was born and raised in the Philippines. He moved to Knoxville when he was twelve and Emerald Youth Foundation instantly became a safe, fun place where he spent most of his teenage years. He met his mentor, best friends and Ms. Susie Worley, who taught him the books of the Bible.
He continued to be involved with Emerald Youth as an intern, serving two terms as an AmeriCorps member, and then working as a high school coordinator for Emerald Avenue UMC. Fifteen years later the Lord has brought Clark back to Emerald, and he says that he feels like he is back home.
Clark and his wife, Rachel, have two daughters, Ella and Abbie. During his free time, Clark enjoys coaching volleyball, being a dad, watching movies, drinking coffee, cooking for family and friends, and praising Jesus through music.
