Brad has lived in Knoxville all his life, besides his time spent in college in Jefferson City. He graduated from Central High School in 1989, then completed his bachelor’s in 1994 and his master’s in 1997 – both from Carson-Newman University. He spent 14 years as a teacher, coach, then later worked as the Upper School Principal at First Baptist Academy in Powell.

He says, “God has blessed me with a desire to serve and minister to young people of Knoxville and their families. Emerald gives me the opportunity to serve the community in a manner that can make a difference in the lives of young people in Knoxville.”

Brad attends Fountain City Church and is married with three children.

Some of his interests are playing golf and watching almost any sport. A fun fact: he served at a Christian school in Kenya.
