Going to Camp & Pursuing a Career
A camp retreat for elementary children and a career panel for high school students provided unique ways to engage with young people this spring.
More than 120 children from 11 churches enjoyed a weekend camp experience at Camp Ta-Pa-Win-Go in Watauga, Tennessee.
The camp focused on God as our creator, teaching the children how God knows us inside and out, formed us, loves us and has a purpose for each one of us. During large group time, the story of Jonah was shared.

Emerald Youth’s Calling and Career Ministry currently serves more than 100 teens and young adults in the heart of the city. They receive support during their high school journey and as they transition to post-secondary experiences, and eventually, to successful careers and their Christ-centered calling.
In early April, a Career Week experience was offered during which businesses, organizations and professionals invested time each afternoon engaging with the students. It was a great opportunity for young people.
