Alec is an only child born and raised in Knoxville — he has never lived anywhere outside of the city. He graduated from South-Doyle High School and Maryville College.

Prior to joining Emerald Youth full time, he was involved with Emerald’s JustLead ministry for five years at his church, Hillcrest United Methodist.

Alec loves the way Emerald works with kids in the community and is excited to serve at an organization that puts faith at the center of everything.

He enjoys hiking, fishing, hanging out with friends on the weekends, watching sports (Go Big Orange!) and cooking. Alec also is proud to have completed a half marathon.

Alec and his wife, Hannah, reside in South Knoxville.
